## Abstract
A period of rapidly accelerating expansion is expected in the early Universe implemented by a scalar field slowly rolling down along an asymptotically flat potential preferred by the current data. In this paper, we point out that this picture of the cosmic inflation with an asymptotically flat potential could emerge from the Palatini quadratic gravity by adding the matter field in such a way to break the local gauged conformal symmetry in both kinetic and potential terms. The metric Einstein gravity with a positive cosmological constant could be recovered either in the absence of the matter field or by adding the matter field in a way that preserves the local gauged conformal symmetry.
In this seminar, some work progress about holographic superconductor from superstrings will be introduced. A non zero-temperature superconducting black hole was constructed and a critical temperature, below which a charged condensate forms with a second order phase transition, is finded. we generalize the no inner Cauchy horizon theorem to the theory of Stückelberg form and can easily prove that there is no inner Cauchy horizon for those kinds of models. Besides, the dynamics are analyzed both inside and outside the event horizon. The existence of Kasner structure is also proved. Then, he holographic complexity in superconductors from superstrings was computed to understand the quantum gravity effect via the quantum information approach. Finally, we give some discussions about the results and look foward to the future.
